Water-Based Acrylic. Safe to use, low odor, and easy to clean up with water. The solvent (alcohol) is very mild, very similar to Tamiya.
Produces a smooth, even coat whether brushed or airbrushed, and levels well.
Can be thinned with Mr. Aqueous thinner or even water (though the proprietary thinner is preferred for best results).
Dries relatively quickly to a semi-gloss or matte finish, depending on the colour.
Includes military colours, Gundam-specific shades, and general-purpose colours.
In recent years, Mr. Hobby updated the Aqueous line (sometimes labeled as “New Formula”) for better pigment coverage and airbrush performance.
