Store opening
A long-suffering modeller and dreamer, it was only a matter of time until Craig Luck, owner, would pull the trigger on having his own model shop. He was on a Crusade!
After many months of planning, Crusader Games opened it’s doors in mid-December 2024 at its Burnham-on-Sea location.
Our Mission
Keeping a well stocked store with friendly staff should be priority number one for any retail business, but it doesn’t always happen – especially in the hobby space. Additionally, many stores just want you to buy and wave goodbye. At Crusader Games we are all about helping, teaching and learning. That’s where our in-store lessons really help seperate us from the crowd.

We might be a small shop in a small town, but we’ve got big plans moving ahead. This is just the beginning of Crusader Games and with your continued support, we’ll get there that bit faster.
Booked a morning painting on the table with my buddy. Craig was a great host and we had a good time. Totally impressed with the paints selection and couldn't help buying a few. Best game shop in Somerset. I'll be back soon!
This is an excellent gaming shop. Well stocked with a wide variety of paints, I know I will always find what I’m looking for and plenty more besides. I thoroughly enjoyed the airbrush course a few weeks ago, Craig was so good and patient at explaining things. And yesterday a friend and I booked the table so we could sit and paint together. Perfect.
As a father being led by my son's newly found interest in Warhammer 40k, this must have been the 6th or so shop we have visited, both in Somerset and more widely. Without a doubt this little model shop beats all the others hands down. It may be small, but it is perfectly formed, extremely well stocked and perfectly laid out with an excellent range across, models, paints, peripherals etc. What's more, there's no price penalty for all this, if anything, the prices here are at least as good if not better then anywhere else local; and online Games Worksop prices always seem more expensive, regardless of the retailer. The staff are also friendly and helpful. So basically a win, win & win - and worth a journey!
First visit today, I shall be returning.
The owner has filled a very small space with an absolute treasure trove for miniatures, especially with paints, brushes, basing materials and miniatures.
If you're a fantasy/sci-fi or military/historical miniatures fan, there's something for you... and a very helpful shopkeeper too!

I travel around the southwest for work and like to drop into local game shops as I move around the area, I saw this shop advertised on Facebook and decided to visit. I can say this shop has the best miniature paint selection of any shop I have visited, you want it they have it, the people of bur ham are spoiled I wish this was my local gaming shop. There is a good range of miniatures too with most of the newest releases available on the shelves. I have now visited twice and both times the staff have been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I understand this is a fairly new store so this place is only gonna get better, if you are anywhere near the area and love miniatures this place is a must visit.
Amazing shop and thankfully an oasis for models and supplies, fantastic knowledge friendly atmosphere and a paint range to cover every combination you can think of.

Amazing shop! Exactly what the town needed. The staff are always super friendly and very knowledgeable. The shop is always clean, tidy and well stocked, if they dont have what you need they can order it for you! Amazing atmosphere.
Really nice hobby shop, has got everything you could ever need. Great selection of paints and scenic supplies from loads of brands. Nice and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back.
Popped In a few weeks back very friendly owner an amazing selection of Paints and effect products plus lots of useful crafting material all not normally seen in the usual model shops.

First visit today to crusader games. A great experience Craig was extremely helpful and pleasure to deal with and some Great advice and tips being given out to newcomers to the hobby. The shop has a Great range including most of the games workshop ranges especially 40K / kill team / age of sigmar and an extensive range of paint and tools. Had everything I wanted in stock and at great prices. Store is clean and well laid out. Will definitely be using from now on. Highly recommend popping in.
